SUMMARY

Launched in 2016 to celebrate 20 years of its patented complication, Patek Philippe’s ref. 5396G-014 is a refined evolution of the watchmaker’s Annual Calendar series. It’s presented in luxurious white gold, measuring a versatile 38.5mm in diameter and complemented by a sunray anthracite dial with applied Breguet numerals and feuille hands. The layout of the annual calendar is favoured by collectors for its symmetry, with the day of the week and month at 12, sitting above the 24-hour indicator and moonphase, while the date is positioned neatly at 6. This particular example was retailed at the famous American jeweller, Tiffany & Co. and is signified by the company’s stamp on the dial - a subtle detail that makes this watch particularly special and desirable.

All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.

Any watch not covered by a current sales or service warranty should be considered as potentially requiring a service, even if in full working order on the date of purchase.

The description of this auction lot is, to the best of the seller's knowledge, accurate and not misleading. Watch Collecting requests a range of detail about the lot from the seller, and performs a level of due diligence. However, bidders must satisfy themselves as to the accuracy of the description, and conduct any research they feel is necessary before committing to a bid. Please see our Terms and Conditions for full details.
