Sell it with usJames Bond has worn an Omega Seamaster in every film of the series since 1995. To celebrate its partnership with James Bond and mark the franchise’s 50th anniversary, OMEGA created a very limited run of 257 watch sets, each presented in their own ‘Globe-Trotter’ suitcase. This set comprises two Omega Seamaster Co-Axial Master Chronometer watches. The first, reference 210.22.42.20.01.003, features a stainless steel case and black rubber strap. On the side of the case is an 18K yellow gold plate engraved with the limited edition number, while the bezel is black ceramic with a white enamel diving scale.
The second model, reference 210.62.42.20.01.001, in 18K yellow gold, sports a black rubber strap with an 18K yellow gold buckle. On this watch, the case plate with the limited edition number is in 18K white gold, and the black ceramic bezel features a diving scale in OMEGA Ceragold.
Special to the watches in this set is a hidden number 50 within the Super-Luminova of the 10 o’clock index – a reference to the 50th anniversary of On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (1969); 18K yellow gold hands and indexes, with a marker at 12 o’clock, inspired by the Bond family coat-of-arms. The case back is decorated with this crest in gold and black on the sapphire crystal. A stainless steel bracelet is also included, as well as two striped NATO straps, a loupe and a strap changing tool. The watches are delivered inside a Globe-Trotter suitcase with two watch rolls.
This lot is presented as an unworn full set, and the condition is within the bounds of the seller’s AAA grading.
