SUMMARY
Inspired by the design of the original Luminor commissioned for the Italian Navy in the years following World War II, this Panerai Luminor Marina combines Panerai’s sea-faring heritage with the latest in contemporary watchmaking technologies and methods. The watch wears the Luminor’s trademark ‘1950’ pillow case - on this reference 01312, it measures 44mm and is finished in stainless steel. The black ‘sandwich’ dial provides superior legibility thanks to its cutaway baton and Arabic numeral indices, which reveal a full luminous disc underneath. Beneath the display caseback lies Panerai’s P.9010 calibre, an automatic twin-barrel movement with an impressive power reserve of 72 hours.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
Any watch not covered by a current sales or service warranty should be considered as potentially requiring a service, even if in full working order on the date of purchase.
