ABOUT THIS WATCH

• ​Launched in March 2022, the ‘Moonswatch’ is a collaboration between Swatch and Omega and pays homage to the Speedmaster - the first watch worn on the moon
• ​Each of the 11 watches takes the Speedmaster’s core design attributes and reinterprets them with a theme from each planet in the solar system, and one for the sun 
• The watches are crafted from Swatch’s ‘Bioceramic’ which is a hybrid composition of ceramic and biosourced material sourced from castor-plant oil
• The case measures 42mm in diameter and follows the exact form of the Speedmaster Professional including the 42mm diameter, and distinctive lyre-style lugs 
• ​The Moonswatch has enjoyed unprecedented levels of demand, with buyers camping outside stores for the chance to acquire one at launch 
• ​With Swatch only offering them in-store, the level of demand remains strong, with a number of variants still proving difficult to purchase 
• This collection features all 11 watches, including the notorious Mission to Neptune, which was discontinued for over a year, making it the rarest in the collection
