ABOUT THIS WATCH
- Introduced in 2021 the Super AVI collection is made up of five watches, inspired by four legendary planes from the 1940s and one watch from the company's archives, the 1953 “Co-Pilot” Ref. 765 AVI aviator’s watch
- This reference is a tribute to the Vought F4U Corsair, a WWII naval aircraft that was developed specifically for challenging takeoffs and landings from carriers, and it was the first single-engine fighter to break the 400mph mark
- This contemporary example has a large 46mm case and maintains the classical look of vintage models
- The sunburst blue dial is a nod to the paint colour applied to the famous warplane
- As a true pilot’s watch designed to withstand the challenges of a cockpit, this watch features large, highly legible Arabic numerals on the dial and bezel
- The black leather strap features contrast stitching and a stainless steel deployment buckle
- Powering this watch is the calibre B04, a self-winding Chronograph GMT movement with 70 hours of power reserve
