Vacheron ConstantinOverseas Self-Winding

This one-owner brand new Vacheron Constantin Overseas is being auctioned as a full set. The sale includes the box, instructions, warranty card, Geneva seal card and swing tag. Also included are a spare rubber and alligator strap and deployant buckle for the additional straps. Presented in mint and unworn condition, it falls within the seller’s ‘AAA’ grading.

Borrowing design cues from the legendary 222, the Overseas is Vacheron’s answer to the Nautilus and Royal Oak. The reference 4500V seen here was introduced in 2016 and features a refined 41mm case with brushed surfaces, polished accents and bevels. An integrated bracelet feels natural to the watch, but due to the modularity of the design, all three types of straps offered are easily interchangeable, providing maximum versatility. Housed inside and visible through the exhibition caseback is the calibre 5100, boasting more than 60 hours of power reserve and a date complication.

Officially launched in 1996, the Overseas line picked up where the 222 left off and has since rivalled Patek Philippe’s Nautilus and Audemars Piguet’s Royal Oak to complete the ‘luxury sports watch’ segment of the Holy Trinity.
