ABOUT THIS WATCH
- Introduced in 2017, the Vacheron Constantin Historiques Triple Calendrier 1942 draws inspiration from the brand's vintage reference 4240
- This reference offers collectors the best of both worlds, with classically-styled lines complemented by some contemporary updates
- The case has been enlarged to a more modern 40mm, but retains the signature claw-shaped lugs
- The case band also boasts three gadroons, adding depth and character
- The cream-coloured dial with blue accents adds a subtle touch of colour and pays tribute to the watch it was inspired by
- A recessed small seconds is positioned at 6 o'clock and a red arrow-tipped pointer date complements the classic 1940s layout
- Powering the watch is the hand-wound calibre 4400 QC, offering a 65-hour reserve and incorporating a triple calendar function
