SUMMARY
With enthusiasts and collectors calling for a more refined GMT watch from Tudor, the brand released the all-new Black Bay Pro earlier this year. Offered in a more wrist-friendly and classically sized 39mm case, the design is clearly inspired by Rolex’s vintage 1655 Explorer II. The watch features attributes seen across the Black Bay range including the robust case and oversize crown but introduces a radial brushed 24-hour fixed bezel and yellow GMT hand. The result is a handsome and versatile travel companion with the ability to track multiple time zones simultaneously. Also new for this reference, but not immediately apparent, are the ceramic monobloc hour markers which provide larger areas of luminescence and therefore better legibility to the wearer. The hands are a classic “snowflake” shape in honour of vintage Tudor references, and a date aperture is positioned at 3 o’clock.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
