SUMMARY
Tudor expanded its popular Black Bay range in 2016 by releasing a bronze reference as we see here. The watch encompasses all the attributes that have made the model line so successful but introduced a bronze case in more substantial 43mm dimensions. The dial and aluminium bezel insert are finished in brown, nicely complementing the bronze’s warm tones. An ‘Explorer-style’ layout sees Arabic numerals positioned at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock, which pays homage to early Submariners and gives the watch a nice vintage touch. Internally, the watch is powered by the in-house chronometer-certified calibre MT5601, which features a 70-hour power reserve. As a discontinued reference, this 2022 example is likely to be one of the final example sold in the UK.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
Any watch not covered by a current sales or service warranty should be considered as potentially requiring a service, even if in full working order on the date of purchase.
