SUMMARY
Like the famous namesake motorcar, The Chronograph 718 Cayman GT4 RS ‘Weissach Pack’ is constructed from modern lightweight materials. It can also be highly customised with a range of different build options. This particular example has been specified with a lightweight brushed titanium case with yellow accents on the minutes track and chronograph hands. The watch’s underside is equipped with a sapphire case back displaying the calibre WERK 01.200 movement. Based on the venerable Valjoux 7750, it has flyback functionality and a 48-hour power reserve. Fans of the GT4 RS car will immediately notice that the winding rotor is based on the car’s wheel design. The references to the iconic motorcar go beyond the case, with the strap made from genuine Porsche vehicle leather.
