This one-owner 2022 Calatrava ref. 6119R-001 was purchased new by the vendor from a Patek Philippe authorised dealer. It’s accompanied by the display box, outer box, certificate of origin, booklets and leather folder. The manufacturer’s two-year warranty covers this example until 2024. The vendor advises the watch is in unmarked brand new condition and has subsequently graded it ‘AAA’. The images appear consistent with that assessment, showing no visible signs of wear.

The reference 6119 represents a new era for the Calatrava with a more contemporary case size. Despite this, its classic proportions are maintained, and the fabled line’s heritage is presented to a new generation of collectors.

The 39mm rose gold case of this 6119R-001 features a guilloched hobnail pattern, also known as Clous de Paris, to the bezel. There’s a sapphire crystal case back, and the watch is rated as water-resistant to 30m. The lot is presented on an alligator leather strap with square scales in brown, and it’s fastened by a rose gold pin buckle.

The dial is finished in silver with a subtle egg-shell-like texture and features a railway minute track along with gold faceted and applied hour markers. The hour and minute hands are in the dauphine style with three facets. A small seconds display is positioned at 6 o’clock.

On the underside, an exhibition case back displays the twin-barrel calibre 30-255 PS movement, which comprises 164 parts and offers a power reserve of 65 hours. The movement is finely finished with Côtes de Genève across the bridges and is stamped with the Patek Philippe Seal.

All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.

The description of this auction lot is, to the best of the seller's knowledge, accurate and not misleading. However, bidders must satisfy themselves as to the accuracy of the description, and conduct any research they feel is necessary before committing to a bid.
