SUMMARY
Part of Grand Seiko’s Sport Collection, the 40.5mm case is expertly hand-finished with ‘Zaratsu’ polishing applied along the lug hoods and case flanks. The dial has a rich green hue, complemented by applied hour markers and a contrasting GMT hand. This can be referenced against the 24-hour scale on the matching green ceramic bezel to display a second time zone. Powering the watch is the unique Spring Drive calibre 9R66, famous for combining traditional mechanical components with a quartz oscillator. The result is a level of accuracy unmatched in conventional mechanical movements, with the timekeeping regulated to +1 to -1 seconds per day.
Grand Seiko has a legacy of making exceptional watches with quality and finishing well beyond its price point. The consistently high level of craftsmanship has earned Grand Seiko a place amongst the top watch manufacturers.
