SUMMARY

With a lineage that can be traced back to the 1940s, the Breitling Navitimer is one of the world’s most-recognised pilot’s watches thanks to its pioneering bi-directional ‘slide rule’ bezel, which allowed pilots and air-crew to work out calculations on the fly. Breitling celebrated the 70th anniversary of the Navitimer in 2022 with the release of several different versions of the iconic watch. The reference presented here features a slightly smaller case at 41mm with a cream-like silver dial. The subtle use of gold, contrasting chronograph subregisters, and a blend of finishing methods on the case create a sporty and timeless appearance. Updates from previous references include moving the date aperture to the 6 o’clock position for a more streamlined appearance, moving the AOPA wings to their original position at 12 o’clock, and most importantly the new COSC-certified Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01.

All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.

Any watch not covered by a current sales or service warranty should be considered as potentially requiring a service, even if in full working order on the date of purchase.
