Sell it with usThis 2021 Patek Philippe Calatrava Pilot Travel Time is presented with its box, certificate of origin, booklets, leather folder and tool. Also included is a spare factory brown leather strap with contrast stitching. The watch’s condition is within the bounds of the seller’s AA grading and Patek Philippe’s two-year warranty provides cover until 2023. This lot represents an attractive opportunity for collectors in light of Patek Philippe's recent price increase.
The reference 5524R blends the utilitarian looks of a pilot’s watch with Patek Philippe’s clever travel time complication. With a profile that clearly distinguishes it from other models in the Calatrava line, the 42mm rose gold case has distinctive pushers on the left flank for adjusting the skeletonised “local-time” hour hand.
Designed with legibility in mind, the sunburst brown dial features large rose gold Arabic numerals filled with Super-LumiNova. The underside reveals an exhibition caseback displaying the expertly finished calibre CH 324 S C FUS, elaborately decorated with Cotes de Geneve across the bridges and gold winding mass. The Patek Philippe seal ensures a high standard of finishing and that the movement is regulated to -3/+2 seconds per day.
Launched at Baselworld 2015 to the surprise of collectors and enthusiasts, the Calatrava Travel Time expands on the legacy of Patek Philippe's longest-running model line.
