Offered by a private collector, this full-set Omega Speedmaster Dark Side Of The Moon is accompanied by the box, warranty card, pictograms card, sleeve, swing tags and pouch. It’s presented on a black Cordura strap with a black leather lining. The vendor advises the watch is in unworn condition and within the bounds of a ‘AA’ grading.

The case measures 44.25mm and is impressively finished with polished bevels and satin flanks. Despite its size, the watch’s predominantly ceramic construction makes it incredibly light and ergonomic. The gloss black dial, also finished in ceramic, features applied hour markers and hands filled with Super-Luminova. Stepped sub-registers at 3 and 9 o’clock display the chronograph and running seconds, and a date aperture is symmetrically laid out at 6. Hints of red add a sporty touch to this stealthy watch. On the underside, a large sapphire crystal shows Omega’s in-house calibre 9300. This automatic winding movement is equipped with a co-axial escapement, column-wheel chronograph and twin barrels which deliver a 60-hour power reserve.

Launched at Baselworld 2013, the Dark Side Of The Moon pays tribute to the Speedmaster’s legacy and offers Omega’s new generation movement alongside contemporary ceramic construction.
