ABOUT THIS WATCH
- An early 2020s release, the Omega Speedmaster 38 is a contemporary version of the scaled down Speedmaster Reduced
- The watch measures a wrist-friendly 38mm across, its formal-wearing two-tone finish and opaline dial is in stark contrast to its larger, utilitarian cousin, the iconic Speedmaster Moonwatch
- Despite its scaled-down dimensions, the watch retains the Speedmaster’s signature tri-sub dial layout and fixed tachymeter bezel
- The 38 offers 100 metres of water resistance, rather than the 50 of the regular ‘Speedy’
- Beneath the Speedmaster-stamped caseback beats Omega’s calibre 3330, an automatic movement with a 52-hour power reserve
