Sell it with usThis one-owner 2021 Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Worldtimer is being auctioned through a private UK-based collector and comes presented with its solid wood display box, operations manual, and a set of manufacturer-issue cards providing proof of Omega’s five-year guarantee and the watch’s chronometer certification. The vendor advises the watch is in good working order and has graded it ‘AA’ for condition. The images appear consistent with that assessment.
Measuring a significant 43mm in diameter, this Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Worldtimer is finished in stainless steel, and with its twisted, faceted lugs and weight of approximately 163 grams, it carries some serious visual presence. However, its dual-tone blue dial is its largest point of aesthetic interest. Displaying a world-time complication, the dial’s exterior section is finished in sun-brushed blue, and includes the names of prominent cities within each time zone. At the centre of the dial is a 24-hour glass ring finished in light blue to indicate daytime, and dark blue to indicate night. To provide this intriguing dial with a sense of clarity, Omega has fitted it with applied hour markers and broad-arrow hands.
Beneath the rear viewing crystal beats Omega’s calibre 8938. This co-axial automatic movement has been certified as a Master Chronometer by the Swiss Federal Institute of Meteorology - METAS - and it has a magnetic resistance of up to 15,000 gauss. The power reserve is rated at 60 hours.
