ABOUT THIS WATCH
- The Omega Globemaster family can trace its roots back to 1952 when the Constellation was Omega’s flagship timepiece
- The Globemaster name was given to early Constellations sold in the United States due to a trademark dispute, which was resolved in 1956
- Reintroduced in 2015, the Constellation Globemaster wears the 'pie-pan' dial of the original 1950s watch
- The watch also features a fluted bezel, which is not only historically significant but offers plenty of scratch resistance thanks to its tungsten carbide construction
- This reference has the added appeal of an annual calendar complication, with the months displayed in scripted font around the dial's perimeter
- The watch is powered by Omega’s 8922 calibre, which is master chronometer certified and can be viewed through the sapphire case back
