• The Omega Globemaster family can trace its roots back to 1952 when the Constellation was Omega’s flagship timepiece
• ​The Globemaster name was given to early Constellations sold in the United States due to a trademark dispute, which was resolved in 1956
• ​Reintroduced in 2015, the Constellation Globemaster wears the 'pie-pan' dial of the original 1950s watch
• ​The watch also features a fluted bezel, which is not only historically significant but offers plenty of scratch resistance thanks to its tungsten carbide construction 
• This reference has the added appeal of an annual calendar complication, with the months displayed in scripted font around the dial's perimeter
