OmegaAqua Terra World Timer

Offered for sale by a private collector, this 2021 Omega Aqua Terra World Time was bought new by the vendor from an Omega authorised dealer in London. It is accompanied by the outer and presentation boxes, pictograms card, master chronometer card, warranty card, operating instructions and velvet pouch. The watch shows some light signs of wear, and its condition is within the bounds of the seller’s ‘A’ grading.

At 43mm in diameter, the stainless steel case has substantial wrist presence with twisted, faceted lugs and a polished bezel. Perhaps the watch’s stand out feature is the intricately detailed world map in the dial’s centre. Outboard is the 24-hour ring, applied indices and the city ring.

Housed inside the case is the calibre 8938, a Master Chronometer and amagnetic movement very well suited for modern-day use as it is resistant up to 15,000 gauss. The watch is secured to the wrist via a factory blue strap with white contrast stitching and a signed deployant clasp.

This Worldtime reference builds on Omega’s successful Aqua Terra line and is an appropriate complication for a watch built for use on land and sea.
