SUMMARY

Inspired by the Art Deco movement of the early 20th century, the Kurono Tokyo Chronograph II embodies the long-standing Japanese tradition of intricate, high-end watchmaking and detailing. Housed within the highly-polished 38mm stainless steel case of this independently-crafted watch is a dial, which has been intricately designed with light interaction in mind, and provides the wearer with an immense source of visual interest thanks to its blend of dark grey, metallic copper, and silver elements. Furthermore, the concentric guilloche-finish chronograph dials contribute to the dial's already-playful aesthetic and hark back to elegant chronograph sports watches of the 1930s. The elapsed-time dial positioned at nine o'clock has a highly-polished sub-hand, which has been shaped like a traditional Japanese 'Kyudo' arrow to reflect the Kuruno Tokyo's Japanese heritage and Kyudo archery's principles of purity, grace, and refinement. House beneath the screw-down rear casing of this Hajime Asaoka-designed watch beats the Seiko's NE86A; a Japanese-made automatic movement with a 45-hour power reserve.

All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
