Sell it with usThe Portugieser is an integral part of IWC’s catalogue, with an enduring design that’s remained relatively unchanged since its introduction in the late 1930s. With its large 40mm+ case width, slimline proportions, and minimal bezel, this watch is almost all dial on the wrist. As chronographs go, the Portugieser is a remarkably elegant example favouring a minimalist approach to the classic complication.
This reference is one of three new versions added to the model line in 2020. It features a 41mm stainless steel case with a combination of brushed and polished surfaces. The dial takes cues from historical references with its leaf-style hands and applied Arabic numerals but is finished in a striking green colour, giving the watch a contemporary feel.
Housed inside the case, and powering the watch, is the IWC-manufactured calibre 69355. This automatic movement is equipped with a 46-hour power reserve. Attached to the case is a factory black leather strap with a signed IWC deployant buckle.
The seller advises the watch is in ‘as new’ condition and within the bounds of their AA grading. Purchased by the seller from the IWC boutique in London, the sale includes the box, travel pouch, warranty card, booklets and purchase receipt.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
