ABOUT THIS WATCH
- IWC has an undisputed provenance when it comes to pilot's watches, and has been crafting Flieger's since the 1930s
- Since then, the brand has continually produced highly legible utilitarian watches designed for pilots
- This latest generation reference takes all of these historical attributes and introduces a contemporary sunburst green dial
- This functional watch incorporates a chronograph complication which is neatly displayed in sub-register at 9 and 12 o'clock
- Large numerals and markers aid legibility while a small red hand in the running seconds sub-register at 6 o’clock introduces a hint of colour
- The 41mm stainless-steel case is predominantly satin-finished with finely polished bevels along the lugs
- Beating within is the IWC-manufactured calibre 69385, a column-wheel chronograph movement that features a 46-hour power reserve, visible through the see-through sapphire glass back
- This example is paired with a factory brown leather strap incorporating IWC's EasX-Change system for tool-free swaps
