Sell it with usPurchased new by the vendor from an authorised dealer, this 2021 Cartier Santos is presented as a full set and accompanied by its outer sleeve, display box, warranty card, booklets, an additional unworn leather strap, and strap changing tool. Cartier offers an extended eight-year warranty, and the vendor will include the confirmation that cover is provided until 2029. The watch displays no visible markings on the case or bracelet, meaning it fits within the boundaries of the seller’s ‘AA’ grading.
This stealthy Cartier Santos is distinguished by its black DLC coated stainless steel casing, which measures an oversized 39.8mm in diameter. The watch has a matte finish, with a classic black Cartier dial characterised by stylised Roman hour markers and sword-shaped hands. Screws around the bezel and rubber strap provide this timeless design with a purposeful, contrasting aesthetic.
Powering the watch is Cartier’s in-house developed automatic 1847 calibre, which is chronometer-certified. Introduced in 2015, this movement has a power reserve of 42 hours and is magnetic resistant.
The Santos has a long and celebrated history, being the first pilot’s watch when it was introduced in 1904. Since then, the model has evolved consistently and includes many interesting interpretations like the contemporary reference presented here.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
