Coming from an established watch dealer, a 2021 Breitling Datora AB2510 in a stainless steel case with a salmon-coloured dial. The lot includes the boxes, warranty card, swing tag and corrector tool. The watch itself is in unworn condition and still has factory stickers attached. The seller has rated the watch in ‘AAA’ condition and it appears to fall within the bounds of that rating. However prospective bidders should be aware that one extra hole has been punched into the leather strap. (Please refer to photos)

Paying homage to three generations of inventors – Léon, Gaston & Willy Breitling – the Premier Datora is a refined Breitling chronograph with a calendar and moonphase display. The 42mm stainless steel case is mostly mirror polished, with case bands at the side of the case to break the flat thick surface.

The side finishing is brushed, contrasting with the step bezel and lugs. Featuring rectangular chronograph pushers and Arabic numerals, the heritage-revived Premier Datora displays a variety of design details such as an open sapphire caseback and vintage-inspired hands. The subdials are embossed with concentric guilloche lines and the white metal syringe hours and minutes hands are lume filled for visibility. The watch is fitted to a factory leather strap with a signed deployant clasp.

Datora was a term used by Breitling in the 1940s and refers to a complete calendar chronograph displaying day, date, month and the different moon phases. The Datora is powered by the chronometer-certified Breitling caliber B25 with a 48-hour power reserve.
