Released in 2019 in celebration of the El Primero’s 50th anniversary, the A384 Chronomaster Revival is a faithful recreation of a case Zenith debuted in 1969. Its angular tonneau shape measures 37mm in diameter and is emblematic of 1970s design. A radial satin finish has been applied to the top of the case, with finely polished bevels running along the flanks.

The crisp white dial has a panda-style layout with black sub-registers and a black tachymeter scale that runs around its perimeter. A red central seconds hand adds a nice touch of colour. Turning the watch over shows the calibre 400 - a modern iteration of the classic El Primero movement. It features bi-directional automatic winding, a 52-hour power reserve, and beats at 36,000 vibrations per hour.

Attached to the case is a ‘ladder-style’ stainless steel bracelet that honours vintage examples and provides ventilation for the wrist.

This 2021 example is presented in excellent condition and is within the bounds of the seller’s A grading. The watch is accompanied by a factory black leather strap with pin-buckle, box, guarantee card, Zenith leather sleeve, and swing tag. Zenith’s international warranty covers the watch until 2023.

All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
