Vacheron ConstantinOverseas Dual Time

Purchased new by the vendor from a Vacheron Constantin boutique, this full-set Overseas Dual-Time ref. 7900V is accompanied by the display box, outer box, warranty card, booklets and swing tag. In addition to the bracelet, a factory blue rubber and blue leather strap are also included. The watch shows some marks and scratches on the case and bracelet commensurate with regular wear. Some light signs of wear are visible on the spare straps. The overall condition appears within the bounds of the vendor’s ‘A’ grading. 

Part of Vacheron’s current Overseas collection, this boutique exclusive Dual-Time ref. 7900V was launched in 2017. The dial is a striking blue colour favoured by collectors, and it creates plenty of visual interest with a deep sunburst finish. Applied hour markers and hands are filled with Super-LumiNova for superior legibility. The dual-time complication is neatly displayed through a short and arrow-tipped fourth hand coupled with an am/pm indicator at 9 o’clock. A radial date display is positioned at 6 ’o’clock. 

The 41mm stainless-steel case is highly nuanced with a polished bezel containing satin-finished plots. The lugs have a clever integrated clasp system which allows for quick and tool-free strap changes. Vacheron Constantin includes a stainless steel bracelet, blue rubber strap and blue leather strap - all of which are included with this example. 

Housed inside the waterproof case and visible through the sapphire case back is the in-house calibre 5110 DT. This self-winding movement is expertly hand finished and stamped with the Geneva Seal hallmark. The power reserve is rated at 60 hours.
