SUMMARY
This reference is part of Vacheron Constantin’s third and current Overseas collection that launched back in 2016, with the Dual Time models arriving a year later. The 41mm steel case is angular and expertly finished with a distinctive polished bezel. A clever mechanism is integrated into the lugs for on-the-fly tool-free strap changes, allowing the wearer to switch between the included bracelet, leather strap and rubber straps.
The black dial is highly legible and neatly laid out with a radial date at 6 o’clock. An AM/PM indicator is positioned at 9, which is used in conjunction with the GMT hand to provide the wearer with a second time zone indication. Housed inside the waterproof case and visible through the sapphire glass on the underside is the in-house calibre 5110 DT. This self-winding movement is finished to exacting standards and features a 22K gold oscillating weight inspired by the wind rose. It’s stamped with the Geneva Seal and the power reserve is rated at 60 hours.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
Any watch not covered by a current sales or service warranty should be considered as potentially requiring a service, even if in full working order on the date of purchase.
