Sell it with usThis one-owner Tag Heuer Monaco Calibre 12 Final Edition was purchased new by the vendor from an authorised dealer in 2020. It’s accompanied by the box, warranty card, and instruction booklet. The vendor advises it’s in good working order, grading it ‘A’ for condition. The images appear consistent with that assessment, showing only light signs of wear and that the watch is in overall excellent condition.
This particular example of the historic motorsport-inspired chronograph is a limited edition of 1,000 pieces celebrating the Calibre 12 movement. Powering the Monaco line for some time, the Calibre 12 gave the watch a more traditional look the winding crown on the right.
Several of the elements that make the Monaco as distinctive as it is are still there, with the square steel case showing polished and satin contrast finishes with angled chronograph buttons. The dial displays a striking vertically brushed ruthenium finish with contrasting orange details to maximize legibility. Fitted to the case is a black alligator strap with an orange lining matching the hands on the dial.
Turning the watch over reveals the movement for which the model takes its name. The Calibre 12 is based on the Selita SW300 with a Dubois-Depraz chrono module and is modified by Tag Heuer. It’s nicely finished with perlage throughout and Côtes de Genève on the winding rotor. The movement is chronometer certified and equipped with a 40-hour power reserve.
