Sell it with usBought from a UK Authorised Distributor in 2020, this Patek Philippe Nautilus Chronograph is offered as a full set, complete with box, warranty certificate, booklets, and the original purchase receipt. The watch has been only lightly worn, with no noticeable marks to the case or bezel. The strap appears unmarked, only creased from closing the buckle. The buckle has a few small and light scratches. Also included in the sale is an additional strap, still sealed in its retail packaging.
The rose gold case features a screw-down crown, sapphire-crystal case back and is rated water-resistant to 120m. The case diameter is 40.5 mm, and the height is 12.2 mm. The watch is expertly hand finished with a blend of brushed and polished surfaces.
The dial has a gradient finish and a distinctive horizontal embossing that’s become onymous with the Nautilus model line. The chronograph timing is neatly displayed at 6 o’clock, keeping the dial symmetrical and uncluttered. Super-Luminova has been used to fill the rose gold markers and hands to provide maximum legibility to the wearer.
On the watch’s underside, a sapphire case back reveals the calibre CH 28-520 C/522 movement, which comprises 327 parts and offers a power reserve of up to 55 hours. The rotor is made in 21-karat gold, and the movement is finely finished and decorated with the Patek Philippe Seal. The watch is fitted to a brown alligator strap with rose gold deployant buckle.
With the rounded octagonal bezel, the ingenious porthole construction of its case, and its distinctive horizontally embossed dial, the Nautilus has long been the very epitome of the elegant (and highly sought-after) sports watch.
