In 2017, Patek Philippe celebrated the 20th anniversary of its popular Aquanaut model with ref. 5168G. It maintained the model’s distinctive look but introduced a more significant 42.2mm case in 18K white gold, giving the watch increased wrist presence and a more contemporary look and feel.

For the first time on an Aquanaut, the dial was finished in navy blue but maintained the characteristic geosphere engraved pattern. Applied 18K white gold Arabic numerals mark the hours and are filled with Super-LumiNova for enhanced legibility. Attached to the case is a geosphere pattern rubber strap, maintaining synergy with the dial. A double deploying clasp made of 18K white gold helps the watch to sit comfortably and securely on the wrist. Inside the case beats calibre 324 SC which has a 45-hour power reserve and is expertly finished with a 21K yellow gold winding rotor.

The watch is presented in mint unworn condition. The clasp has the plastic protective stickers in place and has not yet been cut to size. Also included in the sale are the box and papers, and Patek Philippe’s two-year warranty provides cover until 2022.
