Sell it with usFrom a private collector, this Omega Speedmaster ‘First Omega in Space’ was bought new from a UK authorized dealer. Offered for auction as a full set, the sale includes the box, original receipt, warranty card, pictograms, booklets and swing tag. Presented in unworn condition and with some of the factory stickers still on, it falls within the boundaries of the seller’s ‘AAA’ grading.
Traditionally Speedmaster, the ‘First Omega in Space’ measures 39.7mm across, making it a bit more wearable than contemporary examples. Setting it apart from the current Speedmaster are the elongated ‘Alpha’ hands and the legendary calibre 1861. Continuously produced since 1996, it is known for its reliability and precision. When fully wound, this mechanical chronograph boasts 48 hours of power reserve and is equipped with 18 jewels. Fitted to the case is a brown leather strap, enhancing the vintage feel of the watch.
Filled with vintage design cues fulfilling the demands of the purists, Omega has created a numbered edition iteration of one of the most celebrated timepieces in history.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
