Sell it with usThe Seamaster range is one of Omega’s oldest collections. It was first unveiled in 1948 and modelled after the watches that Omega delivered to the Royal Air Force during the Second World War. Since then, the collection has expanded drastically to include elegant timepieces and ultra-robust instruments. 1993 was a milestone year in the evolution of the Seamaster. Back then, Omega introduced the Seamaster Professional 300M, a watch that would become an emblem of the brand when it was worn by secret agent 007. This blue 2019 Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Master Chronometer, reference 210.30.42.20.03.001, is a recent iteration of this all-time classic; one of the definitive dive watches and a modern “Bond Watch”.
The 42mm diameter stainless steel case has brushed and polished finishes and features a unidirectional rotating bezel with a polished blue ceramic ring filled with a white enamel diving scale. Fittingly, for a high-performance dive watch, there’s a helium escape valve at 10 o’clock. A domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, a sapphire caseback, screw-in crown, and 300m of water resistance ensure that this watch is very much at ease under the surface. The blue ceramic dial features the Seamaster popular laser-engraved wave pattern. The applied indices are filled with Super-LumiNova, as are the skeletonised hands. The Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8800 powers the watch and is officially certified by METAS.
This lot is supplied on its original Omega stainless steel bracelet, with brushed and polished finishes. There’s a useful fine adjustment system on the clasp. The presentation boxes, documents, swing tag and extra links for the bracelet are also included in the sale. The watch complies with the seller’s assessment of A condition grading, showing only light signs of wear.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
