HublotClassic Fusion Chronograph ' Forbidden X'

Hublot’s Classic Fusion Collection of watches strives to reinterpret the meaning of elegance. Merging technologies, developing innovative materials, and pushing the boundaries of classic watch design is all part of the Maison’s day job. Here, a 2020 limited edition ‘Forbidden X’ Chronograph celebrates a collaboration between Hublot and prestigious cigar brand Arturo Fuente.

Presented in a 45mm titanium case with brown ceramic bezel, the dial is created from a tobacco leaf shipped from the Fuente family’s estate in Santo Domingo and stabilised with resin by Hublot’s watchmakers. An automatic chronograph Calibre HUB 1143 movement powers a 30-minute chronograph, displayed with a red central counter, 30-minute counter at 9 o’clock as well as a black date function at 6 o’clock. Useful for timing those longer, more relaxing smokes. The ‘Forbidden X’ also offers a 42-hour power reserve.

The case back, seen here in superb condition, is decoratively engraved with a commemorative image of Carlos Fuente, Sr. and Carlos Fuente, Jr. over the ‘Forbidden X’ motif. Secured to the wrist with a thick, robust, brown calfskin strap. Featuring white contrast stitching an embossed “X”.

This Hublot Classic Fusion “Forbidden X” is available for sale with its specially designed wooden display case (that helpfully doubles as a cigar humidor) and comes in unworn condition. Limited to 250 pieces, this represents an opportunity to own a luxurious and rare timepiece from Hublot.
