This one-owner Tudor Black Bay GMT ref. 7983ORB was purchased new by the vendor from an authorised dealer in 2019. It’s accompanied by the display box, outer box, warranty card and booklets. The vendor advises the watch is in good working order and has graded it ‘A’ for condition. The images appear consistent with that assessment, showing light marks on the case and clasp.

Introduced at Baselworld 2018, this handsome travel watch is characterised by its 41mm stainless steel case and bi-directional blue and red bezel. The bezel, along with the watch’s vintage aesthetic, is inspired by early generations of the iconic GMT-Master produced by Tudor's sister company, Rolex. The face of the watch is finished in black, and the red GMT hand provides contrast and allows the wearer to track multiple time zones simultaneously.

Powering the Black Bay GMT is Tudor’s MT5652 calibre, which is chronometer-certified and has a power reserve of up to 70 hours. Adding to its versatility is a waterproof case - rated to 200m.

Since its reintroduction in 2012, the Black Bay range has become a much-loved staple of the Tudor watch family thanks to its range of high-quality materials and movements, tasteful retro design, and hardy character. This GMT reference was a much-welcomed addition to the range when it launched in 2018.
