ABOUT THIS WATCH
- Under Jack Heuer’s leadership the Heuer brand became extensively involved in working alongside motorsports events and teams, famously producing models such as the Autavia, Carrera, Monaco and Monza in the 1960s and 1970s
- This limited edition Tag Heuer Monza was created to commemorate 40 years of the original Monza from 1976
- It features a 42mm black PVD coated titanium cushion shape case, the case shape being synonymous with the Monza design
- The black dial mixes sporty red accents with vintage style luminescent batons
- The dial takes style cues from the original 1976 watch, and notably uses the Heuer logo, despite being made by the modern era TAG Heuer
- The strap, with a folding clasp, is leather and has motorsport-inspired perforations, again in homage to the original
- Powering the watch is the Calibre 17, an automatic chronograph movement with a 42 hour power reserve
