This one-owner Patek Philippe Nautilus Ladies ref. 7118/1A-001 was purchased new by the vendor from an authorised dealer in 2019. The watch is accompanied by its display box, outer box, certificate of origin, booklets, leather folder and four spare links where the bracelet has been sized. Visible marks and swirls can be seen on the case and bracelet commensurate with regular wear and its condition appears to be consistent with the vendor’s ‘A’ grading.

Based on the original Gerald Genta designed ref. 3700 from 1976, this ladies’ version of the Nautilus is presented in a 35.2mm case with a distinctive rounded octagonal bezel. The Nautilus’ emblematic horizontal embossing has been reinterpreted in this reference to a wavy finish and is complemented by applied baton hour markers with a “12” up top. A date aperture is symmetrically positioned at 6 o’clock.

On the underside of the case, an exhibition back reveals the in-house calibre 324 SC. This automatic movement is expertly hand-finished with Côtes de Genève across the bridges and the 21K gold oscillating weight. Stamped with the Patek Philippe Seal, timekeeping is regulated to -3 to +2 seconds per day.

The Nautilus is a core model in Patek Philippe’s catalogue and has enjoyed unprecedented levels of demand thanks to collectors’ continued interest in luxury sports watches.
