Offered for auction from a UK trade seller, this 2019 Patek Philippe Complications Annual Calendar is sold along with its box, booklets, certificate of origin, leather wallet, 2 travel pouches and 2 spare leather straps. Presented with some signs of wear, the watch appears to be consistent with the seller’s ‘A’ grading.

The reference 5146J we see here is in line with most Patek watches as a timeless timepiece. Featuring an elegant 39mm case constructed from yellow gold, its design is utilitarian yet extremely well finished. The dial is finished in a striking Ivory white with yellow gold Arabic numerals and hands. Powering the watch is calibre 315 S IRM QA LU with a moonphase and annual calendar complication integrated inside. Three -symmetrically- positioned sub-registers indicate the day, date, month, year and lunar phase, providing not only watchmaking pedigree but practicality as well. Despite the complexity of the movement, it looks remarkably clean and uncluttered. And the finishing is some of the best you’ll find anywhere, with its exquisite perlage, Côtes de Genève and bevelling.

This reference 5146J in yellow gold has a timeless quality that is synonymous with Patek Philippe. From the finishing and case size to the complication and use of precious metals, this is a watch that would tempt any watch enthusiast.
