SUMMARY

Inspired by the design of the original Luminor commissioned for the Italian Navy in the years following World War II, this Panerai Luminor Marina combines Panerai’s sea-faring heritage with the latest in contemporary watchmaking technologies and methods. The watch wears the Luminor’s trademark pillow case - on this reference 01312, it measures 44mm and is finished in stainless steel. The black dial provides superior legibility thanks to its blend of intricate cutaway baton and Arabic numeral indices, which create a floating effect. Beneath the display caseback lies Panerai’s P.9010 calibre, an automatic twin-barrel movement with an impressive power reserve of 72 hours.
