The Franck Muller is offered by a private collector who notes that they are the original owner of the watch. The vendor states that the watch is in good working order. The watch is accompanied with its presentation box and certificate of origin and warranty. With some light marks to the case, the watch condition is within the bounds of the vendor’s ‘A’.

The watch features a fascinating dial, on which large brightly coloured Arabic numerals are arranged in a random order. Additional decorative numerals can be seen etched and shaded onto the guilloche silver dial. The hands are blued and a script on the dial, also in bright colours, reads, ‘Crazy Color Dreams’. The watch is from the ‘Crazy Hours’ model collection as is noted on the inscribed brushed stainless-steel case back.

Central to the watch design is the self-winding automatic mechanical movement. The movement includes a complication that allows the hour hand to jump on the hour to the correct numeral for the hour display. The stainless-steel case style is tonneau in shape with what Franck Muller brand describes as a ‘cintree curvex’ design style. The blue strap is constructed from Alligator leather and features a pin buckle.

Franck Muller was established by Geneva trained watchmaker and designer, Franck Muller and co-founder Vartan Sirmakes. In 1983, Muller produced his first wristwatches under his own watch brand. Today Franck Muller is headquartered in Genthod, Switzerland and their manufacturing location is called ‘Watchland’. The independent brand’s models include grand complication watches.
