Sell it with usPurchased in 2019 and still unworn, this limited edition Bremont Supersonic comes with a Concorde nose-shaped box to commemorate the fact it was commissioned to celebrate 50 years of Concorde and transatlantic supersonic flight. The seller notes that watch comes with all of it’s original paperwork that remains unopened since purchase.. Given this modern British classic watches’ outstanding condition, it undoubtedly sits within the bounds of the seller’s ‘AA’ grading.
Bremont produced just 300 of these highly-exclusive Supersonic timepieces, the present watch is number 190. Its slim, elegant 43mm ‘Concorde’ case is fashioned from stainless steel, and its Sunburst White dial is reflective of the supersonic jetliner’s specially developed, highly reflective paint. The dial has a power reserve indicator set at 12 o’clock; the date and small second hand dial located at six o’clock. The dial is surrounded by a ring of aluminium taken from the last remaining Concorde at Heathrow airport. The dial and case contrast nicely against the navy blue leather strap. Powering the watch is Bremont’s British-made modified BE-11M 8 day movement, which is Bremont’s first ever manual wind movement. This Bremont Supersonic is water resistant to 100 meters (328 feet).
With its retro ‘70s design, the Bremont Supersonic is an all-British homage to an icon whose technological prowess we are unlikely to see again in civil aviation.
