TudorPelagos

The Pelagos was launched as Tudor’s hardcore no-nonsense dive watch and has played an integral part in the company’s revamp since 2012. In 2015, it was updated with an in-house movement, and a vibrant blue-dialled version was debuted - as we see here.

The Pelagos has a pure utilitarian design with a satin-finished 42mm titanium case. Legibility has been a primary consideration for the dial, which features large applied white indices, and snowflake hands - a nod to vintage Tudor Submariners. A screw-down crown and a helium escape valve afford the watch an impressive 500m of waterproofness.

Tudor’s chronometer-certified calibre MT5612 movement is housed inside the case, which is equipped with a 70-hour power reserve. Perhaps the watch’s standout feature is the bracelet, or more specifically, the clasp. It’s equipped with a patented micro-adjustment coupled to a spring tension system that moves with the wearer’s wrist to maximise comfort.

This 2018 example shows light signs of wear and is within the bounds of the seller’s A grading. The sale includes the box, guarantee card, booklet, and spare factory blue rubber strap with diver extension.
