Sell it with usPorsche Design was founded in 1972 by Professor Ferdinand Porsche, the creator of the 911, and offers a range of design-led and technical products, including this limited-edition Chronograph. One of just 20 examples produced, it was launched to celebrate the Brands Hatch Festival of Porsche and 70 years since the first Porsche motorcar was produced in 1948.
This watch has been specified with a lightweight black PVD titanium case - giving it a stealthy appearance and a lightweight feel. The black dial is highly legible, thanks to the contrasting white hands and markers. A red seconds hand adds a pop of colour and adds to the watch’s sporty appeal. Looking closer, a Union Jack can be seen on the sub-register at 9 o’clock, signifying the watch’s tie in with the Brands Hatch Festival of Porche, where the watch was unveiled.
On the underside, a sapphire case back displays a Porsche Design Rotor above the Valjoux 7750 self-winding movement. As is the case with all Porsche Design wristwatches, form and function combine effortlessly - crossing the bridge between motorsport and horology. Fitted to the watch is a black rubber strap secured by a titanium deployment clasp.
The watch is presented in excellent unworn condition with no visible signs of wear. The sale includes the manual, warranty and limited edition box with a Brands Hatch Festival of Porsche metal plaque.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
