Sell it with usThis 2018 Patek Philippe Complications Chronograph is offered by a private collector. Presented as a full set, the watch is accompanied by the box, booklets, sleeve, and certificate of origin. As seen in the pictures, the watch is presented with some light signs of wear, bringing it within the seller’s ‘A’ grading. The vendor has indicated that the watch has been serviced in the past.
The reference 5170P-001 features an elegant 39mm case constructed from platinum, as signified by the brilliant-cut diamond between the lugs at 6 o'clock. The dial is sunburst blue that graduates towards black at the periphery. The applied baguette-cut diamond hour markers are tastefully incorporated into the design and complement the watch's aesthetic. With immaculate polishing and brushing to create depth, the sloped bezel can slide under any cuff without any problem.
Housed inside the case is the in-house Calibre CH 29-535 PS, a manually-wound movement with a power reserve of 65 hours. The attention to detail and finishing of the dial and case are mirrored in the movement, which can be appreciated through the exhibition caseback.
With a mere two-year production run, the platinum cased Patek Philippe ref. 5170P-001 is a rare and handsome watch.
