Sell it with usPanerai has a rich history, especially with the Italian Navy specialist diving corps, whom which they supplied watches for. This Panerai Luminor 8 Days is named after the 8 Day power reserve of the hand-wound calibre P.5000. Inspired by the late 1940s and early 1950s when Panerai used a 16-ligne Angelus calibre which would run for eight days without being wound, this watch is part of Panerai and Italian history alike.
True to the brand’s heritage, the 44mm stainless steel case has a substantial presence on the wrist. The black dial is designed with legibility in mind and features large luminous markers and numerals. The trademark crown guard protects from knocks and affords the watch 300m of water resistance. Fitted to the watch and complementing its design is a factory black rubber strap.
This example is offered in worn condition with scratches and swirls around the case and clasp. Included in the sale are the original box, papers, strap tool, and two spare straps - brown suede and black leather.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
