Sell it with usOffered by a private collector, this Omega Speedmaster '57 is being auctioned along with its wooden box, warranty, pictograms and leather sleeve. Presented in worn condition with some marks and scratches to the case and bracelet, it falls within the seller's 'A' grading.
The case measures 41.5mm across with sharp and defined lugs reminiscent of the first Speedmaster reference. Also paying tribute to vintage references are the "Broad Arrow" hands. Adding depth to the dial are the hour markers which are recessed and coated in Super-Luminova to offer superior legibility to the wearer. Housed inside and visible through the caseback is the Omega Calibre 9300; the first chronograph equipped with the co-axial escapement, boasting 60 hours of power reserve.
Inspired by the first Speedmaster dating back to 1957, the reference we see here combines heritage, vintage design nods and modern technologies.
