Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Date

After a period of larger case sizes, the Master Control line regained some of its elegance when Jaeger-LeCoultre introduced the downsized and refined ref. Q1542520 in 2012. The rose gold case measures 39mm in diameter and is nicely complemented by a silver sunburst dial. Diamond-shaped indices, Arabic numerals, and hands are applied and also finished in rose gold.

A heat-blued seconds hand provides additional visual appeal. The watch features an exhibition case back displaying the in-house calibre 899. This movement is subject to Jaeger-LeCoultre’s 1,000 hours of testing for efficiency and performance. Attached to the case is a factory brown crocodile strap and rose gold pin-buckle.

This 2018 example is presented in very good condition and has been worn sparingly. Some light hairline marks are visible on the case and the leather strap is lightly used. Included in the sale are the box, guarantee, booklet, and swing tag. The owner recently had the watch professionally valued at £15,000, and the documentation will also be included.
