This 2016 Calibre 16 Day-Date Chronograph honours the Carrera’s history but uses thoroughly modern materials and design. The 43mm titanium case has a matte black PVD coating, giving the watch a very stealthy appearance. Ceramic material is used for the bezel which will help to maintain a clean and scratch-free appearance.

Attached to the case is an aged calf leather strap, secured by a TAG Heuer signed folding clasp made of black PVD coated titanium.

The double-coated anti-reflective sapphire crystal gives an unobstructed view of the grain-textured black dial. Applied numerals and hands are filled with vintage inspired Super-LumiNova that breaks up the all-black appearance and brings some warmth to the watch. Recessed chronograph sub-registers are located at 6, 9, and 12 o’clock, and the day and date are displayed through windows at 3 o’clock.

The model is powered by the Calibre 16, which is based on the famous ETA Valjoux 7750 movement. The self-winding chronograph movement beats at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers a power reserve of 42 hours in addition to its day and date indicators.

The watch is presented in excellent condition with some minor wear to the case and deployant clasp. Also included in the sale is the box and papers.

All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
