Sell it with usThe now discontinued 5205R-001 is a highly nuanced reference from Patek Philippe with a unique way of displaying the annual calendar. Apertures are displayed in an arc around the top of the dial to indicate the day of the week, date, and month. In addition, a moonphase and 24-hour indicator are positioned at 6 o’clock.
This is all governed by Patek Philippe’s calibre 324 S QA LU 24H/206 movement, which features a 21K gold winding rotor alongside a Patek Philippe Seal, meaning it’s tested to a tolerance of -3 to +2 seconds per day. The 40mm white gold case is curvaceous and complex with a large concave bezel and hollowed-out lugs. Complementing the watch’s aesthetic is a factory black leather strap and pin buckle.
This 2017 example is presented in fair condition, with some marks and swirls visible on the case. The accompanying leather strap shows clear signs of wear. Included in the sale are the box, leather wallet and certificate of origin.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
