SUMMARY

The MB-II was created in collaboration with Martin-Baker, an aviation company responsible for supplying 70% of all air forces with fighter ejection seat technology. The watch is constructed to withstand the same rigorous testing the seats undergo, and Bremont uses a floating movement mount to ensure reliable functionality of the Chronometer-certified BE-36AE calibre under heavy g-forces. The 43mm stainless steel case makes use of Bremont’s ‘Trip Tick’ three-piece construction. Several colour options are available in the middle section, including a striking orange colour, as seen in this example. The dial is inspired by classic aviation watches and is designed with legibility in mind. Crisp white Arabic numerals mark the hours and provide maximum contrast against the matt black face. The dished rehaut around the perimeter acts as a timing device and can be rotated via the crown at 4 o’clock.

All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.

Any watch not covered by a current sales or service warranty should be considered as potentially requiring a service, even if in full working order on the date of purchase.

The description of this auction lot is, to the best of the seller's knowledge, accurate and not misleading. Watch Collecting requests a range of detail about the lot from the seller, and performs a level of due diligence. However, bidders must satisfy themselves as to the accuracy of the description, and conduct any research they feel is necessary before committing to a bid.
