ABOUT THIS WATCH
- The Breitling Navitimer is a true icon in the world of watches, and has been a constant in the Swiss watchmaker’s line-up since the early 1950s
- With a design that has been evolutionary rather than revolutionary throughout the last seven decades, the Navitimer’s timeless design is both handsome and functional
- The model line has its roots in aviation, and to this day is still equipped with Breitling’s pioneering bi-directional rotating slide rule - a tool created to allow aircrew wearing the watch to perform calculations relevant to flying
- This 2017 piece is crafted from stainless steel and with its 46mm case, it is larger than its predecessors; nonetheless, it retains the instantly-recognizable look synonymous with historic Navitimer references
- Limited to 1000 pieces this example features a Stratos Grey sunburst dial
- Beneath the transparent caseback beats the Breitling Calibre 01, a COSC certified chronograph movement
- The watch is paired with a brown leather strap with contrast stitching; a combination which accents the Navitimer’s vintage-inspired design language
